Brazilian vocalist Barbara Mendes and producer François K are beginning to develop quite an impressive discography of collaborations. François first recorded Barbara's vocals on his remix of 'Mes Vacances à Rio' by Rhinocerose. François then teamed up with Barbara on his own production 'Awakening', the classic, deep, jazzy masterpiece with Barbara's gorgeous Brazilian vocals and live instrumentation, released on Wave Music in the summer of 2002. ... Read More »Now Barbara Mendes is backed by the impeccable production of both Francois K. and legendary producer Eric Kupper on this summer anthem 'Got To Be In Love'. The story only gets better to find out that the song is co-written by veteran producer/ songwriter Bert Reid (formerly of Unlimited Touch and more recently Harlem Sunshine, also on Wave Music). 'Got To Be In Love' is a slight departure from the Brazilian vibe on the previous collaborations...
