Sampedro Jose Manuel Otero (Chembass) was born in 1983 in Seville. In 2000 he began his career as a DJ being influenced by the sounds of break and hip hop. In 2004 the possibilities that electronic music offered him gave him new ideas. captivated by the sounds of artists such as Mathew Jonson, seht Troxler, Matthew Dear, and Villalobos.
His style is very diverse it includes a strong focus on deep-house and minimal music but rather than always creating elegant linear mixed tracks with refined technique. It has a loose and groovy feel, which makes it more organic and gives it a 'real' feel.
In 2006 he debuted in the SALA EMPORIO. And in the same year he played on the tenth anniversary of SEVILLA TERRITORIES, one of the most important festivals in the music scene in the capital of spain.
