Simon Resoul has come a long way from humble beginnings as a drummer. Joining a band when he was 17, he soon became influenced by house music and progressed to getting a set of turntables and DJing when he was 20. Artists like Kerri Chandler, Silicone Soul, Nick Holder, Charles Webster, Rithma and Miguel Migs influenced Simon and he soon formed the group Resoul with brother Brian, Dave Hughes and Liam Kelly, becoming residents soon after at Stereotonic in 2002. In winter 2006, branching out on his own, Simon took to the studio to start on his own production work. After over a year of tinkering and finding his feet, he began work on his current project on Stereotonic Recordings, the Simon Says EP, which includes the tracks 'A Safe Place', 'Night Pack', 'Easy company' and a collaboration with Scribble Records artist Kormac on the track 'Entre'.
