This coming Friday, October 30th, Plan B in NYC will host the official Barrio Bump release party for Captain Planet’s latest release, the Speakin’ Nuyorican E.P. out now on Bastard Jazz Recordings. Sharing dek-rocking duties are established party pleasers DJ DRM, Captain Planet, and Dr. Juice. The party starts at 10pm and there’s a five-dollar admission fee, which isn’t so bad when you take into account that it buys you a full night of the best in get-down jazz funk with more than a few Latin twists.
